2. Files You Upload

Files you upload for conversion are processed on our servers and automatically deleted within 60 seconds of conversion. We do not store, read, analyse, or share your files. We do not retain any copies after deletion.

Do not upload files containing sensitive personal information, confidential business data, or any content you would not want temporarily processed on a third-party server.

3. Information We Collect

We collect minimal data to operate the service:

• Server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. These are used for security monitoring and are not linked to personal identity.
• No cookies — MediaJiji does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. A session cookie is used only for the admin panel login.
• No accounts — MediaJiji does not require registration. We collect no names, email addresses, or personal information from regular users.

4. How We Use Information

Server log data is used solely to:

• Detect and prevent abuse or excessive use of the service.
• Monitor server health and performance.
• Diagnose technical issues.

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

MediaJiji loads fonts and icon libraries from jsDelivr CDN. This means your browser makes a request to jsDelivr's servers when loading the page. jsDelivr's own privacy policy applies to those requests. No other third-party services are used.

6. Data Security

Uploaded files are stored temporarily in a secure directory on our server and deleted automatically. We do not transmit files to any external service for processing — all conversions happen on our own infrastructure using FFmpeg and ImageMagick.

7. Children's Privacy

MediaJiji is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the service in a way that raises privacy concerns, contact us and we will address it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of MediaJiji after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
